Looking to turn your love of growing flowers into a highly profitable career path? We encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and just GO for it! You can do it!
Gain the expertise to plan and execute a successful cut flower garden or small-scale flower farm. Uncover key strategies to design and manage a profitable operation, including annual tasks and succession planting. Master variety selection to ensure continuous blooms during the growing season. You will learn all you need to know in order to plan your garden/farm layout for maximum profitability.
We will be demonstrating on the Farmer's Almanac Garden Planner (available online) while you work on your hand drawn plans. You can try it yourself with a 1 week free subscription and then $39/annually after. We highly suggest this garden planner as we have been using it for years and it is very helpful/easy to use with great visuals. We are not at all affiliated with Farmer's Almanac, it's just a great resource! If you would like to bring a tablet or laptop along so that you can use the digital version along with us, you are welcome to, but this is not necessary.
Beginning at 2pm, guests will be welcomed with Gourmet Coffee, Hot Chocolate and various Farm Fresh Herbal + Floral Tea blends served along with locally sourced honey and yummy snacks. You will receive a printed workbook including all information discussed in the workshop as well as additional bonus information to give you the best start in your new career.
